I’ve made many short videos like this one to experiment and draw with the cast flowers. The woven insert into the cast rubber floor offers a soft landing site for the flowers. These short videos express a playfulness to collaborate with the flowers, and to extend my interaction with them. I want to empower the flower as a collaborator, and appreciate the flower for how it delivers an emotional response alongside a critical function in the greater ecological landscape.
