A.D.NYC is pleased to present Ground, a solo exhibition by artist Tory Fair. In her series of wall mounted sculptures, stacks of paper, fabric and other personal effects are claimed as drawings by the weight and resulting created space of placed rocks. Making literal paperweights, Fair looks at drawing through the lens of the earthwork, inviting the seeming immutability of nature as an anchor to the layers that she considers a history of personal sediment.
